The night sky comes to your classroom in our portable, inflatable planetarium. Unisphere programs are developed by Carnegie Science Center’s world-renowned Henry Buhl, Jr. Planetarium for children from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade.

Program topics range from constellations to mythology to the structure of the universe. Present different shows to different age groups at no additional charge.

Length: 45 minutes
Capacity: 30 students
Basic fee: $200, including set-up and two presentations
$100 each additional presentation
Requirements: 12′ ceiling height, 20′ x 20′ floor space and electrical access

The Sky Above Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood
Early learners explore familiar objects in the sky with Mister Rogers and their favorite characters from the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.
Grades PK-K

Constellation Illumination
What is a constellation? Why were they created in the first place? We’ll answer these questions, then put your imagination to work by locating some favorite pictures in the sky.
Grades 1-3

Map to the Stars
Follow the arc to Arcturus! This guide for beginning stargazers will provide tools and tricks to find constellations in our star-studded galaxy.
Grades 4-6

Mythology: Star Stories
Did you know that many constellations have exciting stories? Ancient Greek, Roman and Native American myths tell of brave hunters, beastly battles and more.
Grades 4-8

Space and Time
Using math and geography, you’ll learn why man’s perspective of the stars changes from one Earthly location to another. We’ll also prepare you for stargazing through the seasons.
Grades 7-8
