Hailed as one of the world’s most technologically sophisticated interactive planetariums, the revolutionary Buhl Digital Dome is a quantum leap forward from the original planetarium built in 1939. Explore the far reaches of the macro-universe with stars and galaxies and the micro-universe of the living cell. New in 2006, the planetarium features a full-dome digital projection system, allowing real-time navigation of the known universe and unparalleled imagery. You’ve never seen anything like it!

USS Requin (SS-481)
Climb aboard a real submarine moored on the Ohio River. As the US Navy’s first radar picket submarine and the first-ever historic ship to use interactive multimedia technology, USS Requin offers a distinctive blend of history and technology that fascinates young and old alike. Explore interactive touch-screen stations throughout Requin to learn about nautical science and hear heartwarming, amusing stories from veterans who served on her during the Cold War. Ambient sound effects and props recreate life aboard the submarine in exacting detail.
